Chiswick War Memorial Homes

Homes for disabled servicemen and women, and the families of those killed in conflicts. Founded by Stoll (Formerly the Sir Oswald Stoll Foundation). The first homes were opened in Fulham, followed by several others in West London.

Born Kent.  1913 promoted field marshal. 1922 created earl of Ypres for his Irish services. 1923 appointed captain of Deal Castle. He made his home there and died there.
